Umbrian Extra Virgin Olive Oil – “DOP Umbria”

This quality-certified oil reflects the best of Umbrian olive oil tradition.
It comes from olives of the Moraiolo (no less than 60 per cent), Leccino and Frantoio varieties harvested by hand and processed within 24 hours using a traditional cold extraction process.
Its high oleic acid (min. 76%) and polyphenol content make it a very high quality oil with a high degree of preservation.

The characteristics of this product are its green-gold colour, its clean, fresh aroma of olives with vegetable notes, its intense fruity flavour with a pleasant spicy sensation when freshly pressed, harmonious and balanced when ripe.

It is particularly suitable for raw use on grilled meat and fish. It is excellent on legume salads, mushroom carpaccio, grilled vegetables. It finds an ideal match in dishes prepared with other typical Umbrian products such as black truffle, lentils and spelt.
